An apparent shooting involving 2 motorcyclists temporarily shuts down northbound 405 Freeway in Torr
A forty-four-year-old man was riding a 20-23 Ducati motorcycle on the 405 Freeway in Torrance and was possibly shot at by another motorcyclist as per the belief of CHP officials.
In an unknown condition, the 44-year-old man was taken to an area hospital.
Authorities said they received a call just before 9:30 a.m about a man who was just possibly shot by another motorcyclist.
According to the California Highway Patrol's traffic log, the closure was reported around 11:15 a.m. It affected all lanes between Western Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard. Most lanes have since reopened.
AIR7 HD was over the scene as CHP officers conducted a search for evidence on the closed portion of the freeway.
